Create a high quality character in 5 minutes using sketchbook pro and adobe illustrator

I'm sharing my workflow here, so don't worry about whether or not you can draw. Focus on the simple steps that it takes to get to the final result. Now you may be able to do this using sketch book pro and adobe illustrator, or you might want to do something similar using paper and your favorite program.

I have also included my files here so you guys can open them and mess around. Please do not use the character for any other purpose than to experiment and learn.
