A little about me:

My name is Ali Sabet.  I'm a branding strategy consultant and designer.  Since I started Sabet Brands, I have created and helped sustain hundreds of brands over the past 10 years and have loved every minute of it.  The experience of doing what I do is incredible.

I have the pleasure of working with some of the most talented entrepreneurs, designers and illustrators of our time.  The process of working with these amazing people ensures my growth as a designer, artist and a human being.

I have started a couple of amazing online social networks for designers and character artists.  Check them out if you like, Mojizu and Sabet TV.  I'm also a character designer/illustrator.  It's one of my passions.  So much so that I have a dedicated site called Pixopop!  I'm truly proud of these ventures, as they have inspired thousands of people, including me.

In 1998, I was an intern at Bozell Advertising, where I had a major part in pitching Hilton Hotels.  We won that 50 Million Dollar account, and still hadn't graduated yet.  I got my BA from California State University Fullerton in Communications- I was happy I didn't have to go to school anymore.

In 1999 I was an Art Director at Foote, Cone and Belding (now DraftFCB). I got to work on amazing clients such as Taco Bell, Taylor Made Golf, Kawasaki and Hilton Hotels.  It was a wonderful experience, I learned a ton in a short amount of time.  I also learned that the big agency life wasn't for me.

I have always wanted to teach, but not until recently did I find myself in a position to do so.  SDA is truly a calling for me as a designer and teacher and I hope that you find the methods here as useful as I did.
